Objects quietly calling to be witnessed lingering on the edge of something and nothing, an act of observation.
Through minimal installations of objects and light, the viewer is invited to witness objects of the everyday.
Behind this work lies a fascination with observing the often unobserved or hidden phenomena of commonplace objects; phenomena which occur without our direct intervention, occurring inadvertently for and of themselves. These inherent qualities of objects present themselves as an expression of their form rather than a part of their functionality. There is something in noting and acknowledging this occurrence, the presence of the object; objects which we so often view as simply subject to our needs.
