Feminine Feelings

I wanted to create something that depicted my feelings towards femininity.

I decided to record various images that I could use to abstractly display my ideas and beliefs and to turn them into a reality.

I want people to feel empowered and liberated when viewing my work and for people to question their initial beliefs they may have had on femininity.

While creating the video I was thinking of things such as female sexuality and identity, and the pressure that is put on women to retain their beauty.

My video consists of many vibrant colours and the use of video manipulation techniques, creating an atmosphere that is calm yet chaotic.
