Change Lab

We explored the themes from our photo books, dealing with waste culture, materialism and food production. We were immediately drawn to bees and the issues around bee numbers declining. What impact would that have on us? And most importantly, what are we doing to help?
Our ideas were heavily informed by research around bees and the food they produce. Einstein once claimed that once pollinators disappeared, humans would only live four years. Bees are vital to life, pollinating our food and even materials we use for clothing, such as cotton. Unfortunately, there are problems in our food industry that are harmful to our bee populations. Habitat loss, pesticides and parasites are among the main struggles. But how deep does this issue go?
