To/ a wildflower

A stand-alone collection that is multifunctional for casual, leisure and formal wear. This collection is for the conscious consumer. Using 100% cotton, the collection is sustainable and takes into consideration the sensory needs of all children. Like a wildflower, this collection represents blooming through adversity. The wildflower migrates throughout the land and disperses, yet still blossoms. Inspired by the Irish nomadic community, home can be carried and created through moving space. Often people with Autism Spectrum Disorder struggle with change, as such, I want my collection to display a feel of familiarity. Traditional Victorian doll clothing represents what is shared and passed down through the family, as with my grandmother and mother have with the gifting of a doll. My aim is to create timeless pieces that celebrate Irish history through colour and lace. The colour palette is vibrant with print motifs with delicate lace elements intertwined.
