The aim of my project was to explore the theme of anxiety. From the beginning, I wanted to get across the feeling in the images I created. I was interested in the idea of neurons firing in the body to create this feeling, without being consciously aware of it. This developed onto hair and DNA imagery. I was interested in the obsessive nature of anxiety and used repetitive patterns in some of the images. The materials used throughout were gels pens and markers in black and white, along with mono printing.
