The interaction and disturbance that we as humans have on water, light, sound & vibrations

Through my practice I have been exploring and investigating the interaction and disturbance that we as humans have on water. In particular I have been drawn to the vibrations and movements that we create within a body of water. Carrying out experiments with water, light and sound allowed me to understand my ideas more and I became inspired by the process of making sounds visible using water. The idea of displaying sound as image is something that became an important part of my practice as I have always been interested in the edges of perception.
My explorations and research has led me on to visualising sound through water, using myself as the subject and the sounds my body and movements make on a daily basis. Recording and documenting the different shapes, patterns, reflections and refractions caused by bodily and human sound vibrations became an integral part of the work.
